playgrounds. One dedicated to the toddlers and two year olds; and one dedicated to the 3’s and older students. In addition, the school and church are housed on about 10 acres for exploration and new discovery. Progress reports are distributed twice a year, and student portfolios are distributed at the end of the year.
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and School sits on about 10 acres of land. During the summer months, the school age children (ages: 6-13) use our land for exploration opportunities. Students go on nature walks and pursue outside scavenger hunts locating all of God’s creatures and landscapes. In addition to exploring our beautiful grounds, students participate in Friday Splash Days, where we have fun learning about the different ways to use water while soaking in the sun. During the week, students take part in a special curriculum geared toward Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Our summer program begins in June and ends the second week of August.
On Wednesdays at 10 am, students from age 3-5 have Children’s’ Chapel in the main church building. There The Rev. Dr. Nick Funk (Fr. Nick) leads them in worship and teaches them about Jesus. Teachers sit with their class and participate with the students. The children learn about Christian prayer and sing songs to the glory of God. Parents are welcome and encouraged to come to this service as St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
